Cool two rooms without installing anything. This kit pairs our evaporative air cooler for the living area with a whisper-quiet bladeless tower fan for the bedroom. It works best in dry climates such as Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico and inland California.

Why this pair works: in dry heat, an evaporative cooler drops the air temperature it blows by adding moisture, and it uses about 75 W instead of the 1,000 W or more a portable AC draws. The tower fan keeps the bedroom moving at 28 dB, which is quiet enough to sleep with on.
